An old report that we recently came across at Ukmedix News was looked at by the whole Ukmedix News Team and we thought that it was such an important bit of research that we felt that you needed reminding about it again!

The research that was done at the Department of Urology at the Boston University School of Medicine saw that men who workout on a regular basis can statistically lower the chances of getting erectile dysfunction as they age. The researchers looked at other things such as tobacco and alcohol consumption and noted that cutting these out in midlife did not significantly change the risk of erectile dysfunction. They also saw that men who lose weight suddenly when they start to age are still at risk from erectile dysfunction.
The researchers noted that men who used up around 200 calories every day by going for a quick walk or a run worked wonders for their erectile function and men who burned up even more calories than this had even better erectile function. Almost 600 men between the ages of 40 and 70 were looked at for this study and every aspect of their life such as smoking and drinking, sexual function and physical exercise was looked at. After a time lapse of eight years the men were again interviewed about their lives and their sexual function and it was clearly seen that exercise was extremely beneficial for good sexual function.
Remember that if you exercise you will develop muscles and physical strength that will enable you to move around far better when you are older. If your sexual function is important to you, you must make sure that you run or go to the gym a few times a week. People who exercise not only feel more confident about their bodies which makes them enjoy sex more but they are physically able to carry on having sex for a long time without getting tired.
If you exercise on a regular basis you may be able to throw away your Viagra, Cialis and Levitra for good!
