An American company has done research that shows that the use of vacuum therapy devices can really help with erectile dysfunction and help men to maintain erections for satisfactory sexual intercourse. The company Plethora that owns the ErecAid vacuum device said that the devices were very useful especially for men who were suffering from erectile difficulties after prostate gland surgery. ErecAid is the biggest selling vacuum therapy device in the United States and has sold over one million devices.
The research paper that was shown at The World Congress of Endourology gave details of a clinical study which showed that early use of the vacuum therapy devices like ErecAid ones was good for sexual function following radical prostatectomy. The researchers also noted that it could also help to maintain penis length. The researchers were happy with the results as they proved beyond doubt the usefulness of the devices and that they are very good penile restoration devices in the case of nerve damage after surgery.
Prostate surgery often damages nerves around the penile area that means that it is very difficult for a man to achieve a satisfactory erection. Sometimes using erectile dysfunction drugs like Viagra Cialis and Levitra does not give the results that are needed and it is necessary for men to take more drastic action to get an erection.
