Energy Drinks Do Not Boost Erectile Function

There is no evidence whatsoever that these claims are true

Some people are mistaken in believing that using energy drinks like Red Bull can actually boost your erectile function. Ukmedix News has received reports that even women sometime believe that their sexual function can be increased by using these energy drinks. There is no evidence whatsoever that these claims are true and the rumour is in fact just an urban myth.

Energy Drinks Do Not Boost Erectile Function

In the Yemen however where rumours spread like wildfire there is a craze for these energy drinks and men are prepared to drive for hundreds of miles to buy them from the capital city. In rural areas where there are no big shops people take two or three hour taxi journeys to the big city centres to buy the energy drinks believing that they will cure themselves of erectile dysfunction or just boost their performance in the bedroom department.

Interestingly enough energy drink manufacturers are quite happy to let people believe that their drinks can be used for erectile function as this will have a good effect on sales. There is definitely a placebo effect to be reckoned with as research has shown that as many as 40% of men who were given dud medication for erectile dysfunction believed that they had improved stamina after using it.

Energy drinks are very useful for keeping you awake especially if you need to finish work late at night and you can’t keep your eyes open. The downside is however that you will often find that you cannot sleep and that your heartbeat is racing away even though you feel tired. Energy drinks should be used in small quantities and not on a regular basis as they can aggravate existing heart problems over the long term.

People who are sensitive to caffeine or other stimulants should not use energy drinks.
