Some new health warnings coming into the Ukmedix Newsroom show that a number of men have become ill after using various dangerous erectile dysfunction remedies. The products in question made no mention that they contained potentially harmful and prescription required compounds and thus many men were unaware of their dangers.

The products were confiscated in Canada and the health authorities there put out a warning regarding them. Many of these products are in fact sold on the internet. The products to look out for are Enhanix New Extra Men's Formula, Power 58 Extra, Valentino, Stretch Up Capsules, Platinum Power 58 Extra and King Power Oral Solution.

When the Canadian health authorities looked at these products they found that they contained either sildenafil citrate which is the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra or vardenafil hydrochloride which is the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Levitra. While both of these compounds can be perfectly harmless and extremely effective to help men with erectile dysfunction they must only be given out on prescription as some men can react badly to them especially if they have heart problems or they are taking other medications. The fact that these products do not make any mention of the compounds in them could be potentially fatal for some men and at Ukmedix News we hope that some prosecutions will follow from the confiscation of these products.

At Ukmedix News we would strongly advise people to stay away from any erectile dysfunction remedy that has not been prescribed by a doctor. The vast majority of ‘other’ erectile dysfunction remedies (i.e. not Viagra, Cialis or Levitra) are either completely of no benefit whatsoever or have in fact been laced with the active ingredients of one of the previously mentioned prescription impotence drugs.
