Erectile Dysfunction Medicines Are Not A Laughing Matter

Ukmedix News are getting increasingly concerned about the number of people who believe that erectile dysfunction medications Viagra, Cialis and Levitra can be used to play jokes on people or even to be added to regular food in order to “spice it up”.

Last month we highlighted the fact that it is now a common prank for the groom on his stag night to have his drink spiked with erectile dysfunction medication in the idea that he will be walking around unable to control his sexual urges. We have even heard reports of some people thinking that it will be even funnier to give the groom a double or triple dose of Viagra. This could be extremely dangerous and induce blood pressure problems or a heart attack especially as a large amount of alcohol is likely to be drunk too.
This month we received a report that restaurants in order to spice up the menu sometimes have a “Viagra dessert”. For example a restaurant may serve a Viagra ice cream which will have a crushed Viagra tablet sprinkled over it. This is not only illegal as it is forbidden to sell prescription medications unless you have a pharmaceutical licence but it is also dangerous as anyone taking the Viagra ice cream may not actually know what the side effects of the drug are and whether they are the right person to take it. Viagra is a powerful prescription medication and should any be taken after a consultation with a doctor.
Other restaurants have been known to serve banana splits with Cialis tablets sprinkled on them and even Levitra has made its way onto restaurant menus. You should stay well away from these dangerous items on the menu and possibly warn the owner of the restaurant that he or she is breaking the law and putting people’s lives in danger.
