Impotence Drug Choices

If you had a choice between using Viagra, Cialis and Levitra which one would you choose? Many men who just go for Viagra because it is the most famous impotence drug in the world and they would feel happy about using something that they have heard of and know about. This is probably one of the reasons why Viagra still has over half of the take for all erectile dysfunction drugs sold.
Market researchers know that if a man has the name of a drug in his head that’s the one that he will go for. Technically speaking a man should not choose his own erectile dysfunction medication and the choice should really be determined by his doctor but in many cases when a man goes to his doctor and requests Viagra they will get it provided that the doctor is sure that he meets all the criteria for the drug and that he doesn’t have any health complications that could mean that the drug is not right for him.
Levitra is almost identical in effectiveness and safety when compared to Viagra so the simple reason that men ask for Viagra and that doctors prescribe it is to do with the fact that they haven’t heard of Levitra and they have heard of Viagra.
If you were offered a choice of drugs for any medical problem it is very likely that you would go for the drug that you had heard of and not an unknown to you drug. The big challenge for the erectile dysfunction drug manufacturers is to get their product names into the public consciousness so that they become as well known as the world number one Viagra.
Interestingly enough the people who send out million of spam emails everyday have helped the manufacturers of Cialis and Levitra to gain public awareness of their products. Most people admit to having learnt that there were rivals to Viagra from spam emails.
Cialis is really the only erectile dysfunction drug that is different to the other drugs in that it lasts for a much longer time (up to 36 hours compared to Viagra's and Levitra’s four.) Other than that they all work in similar ways and are similar in composition and effectiveness.
