Deguozhanjiang Impotence Medicine Is Dangerous

A new health warning from the Department of Health in Hong Kong warns people to stay well away from a product called Deguozhanjiang that is supposed to help men who are suffering from erectile dysfunction. The warning is also confirmed by Health Canada which regulates the sale and manufacture of all medications in Canada.

This supposedly harmless and natural looking medication actually contains not only sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra), but also tadalafil which is the active ingredient in Cialis.  Viagra and Cialis are not designed to be taken together and thus this medication could be extremely dangerous if taken. Not only that but there is no note on the packaging of the medication Deguozhanjiang that it contains these two prescription compounds.

The health authorities of Hong Kong and Canada warned that using this medication could cause dangerous heart side effects including heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, extreme pain in the chest and an irregular heartbeat.  They also warned that men who had low blood pressure or who were using nitrates could end up developing potentially life endangering low blood pressure.
