At last the US Food and Drug Administration is waking up to the regulatory problems it has with dietary supplement manufacturers in that they are marketing and selling their products which often contain undeclared or deceptively labeled chemical ingredients.

Following almost 300 cases of consumer alerts as well as thousands of reported consumer injury complaints, the FDA sent out a letter warning the supplement manufacturers about their concern surrounding products, which are marketed as being completely natural but when tested nearly always contain powerful prescription drugs.
The majority of these dietary supplements claim either to boost erectile function or to help you lose weight and claim that they are natural alternatives to existing prescription medications. At Ukmedix News we have tried to highlight some of the more dangerous products on the market but the sheer quantity of them means that we are unable to keep up with the pace.
Unfortunately, the FDA has yet again just given the manufacturers a slap on the wrist and hasn't taken any firm steps to eradicate the problem. When prescription medications are found in dietary supplements all that happens is that the manufacturer agrees to cooperate in an urgent recall of the product and as far as we know no further action is taken.
At Ukmedix News we believe that not only the manufacturers but also the distributors need to be made legally liable for what they sell. This would mean that health shops and even supermarkets which sell some of these supplements would be very wary before accepting anything and possibly would conduct their own independent testing before offering it for sale. They would also be more discerning and inquisitive about where these products come from and who manufactures them.
Many of these supplements are made in substandard filthy factories in either China or India with no regard for the health of the patients. Fake versions of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra have been known to cause serious injury and even death.
If you have an erectile dysfunction problem you should only get medication from a doctor. Using anything else could make your problem worse as well as put other aspects of your health at risk. Dietary supplements are popular because men see them as a way of getting 'Viagra' without a prescription and therefore without a consultation.
At Ukmedix it is possible to have an online impotence consultation discreetly as well as to check that any prescription issued to you whether it is Viagra, Cialis or Levitra comes from a legal and licenced UK pharmacy.
