the Food & Drug Administration has started to be proactive

The Food & Drug Administration has stepped up its efforts to prevent the illegal sale and marketing of dangerous supplements which claim to boost erectile function and libido. There have been far more reports over the last few months of United States Marshals seizing batches of dietary supplements and warnings being issued to the public. This is not because the problem has got worse recently but because the Food & Drug Administration has become aware of the scale of the problem and has started to be proactive in hunting down the people who sell these dangerous supplements.

The Food & Drug Administration is realising that many of these about erectile function boosting supplements are in fact laced with prescription medications such as Viagra, Cialis or Levitra which can be very dangerous if given to the wrong men. Erectile dysfunction medications are known to interact with other medications which men may take and cause fatal complications. It is also worth noting that men who have low blood pressure could also be adversely affected by the use of PDE-5 inhibitors which is the name given to the class of drugs that Viagra, Cialis and Levitra belong to.

A spokeswoman from the American Urological Association also commented on the fact that it was impossible to know whether these erectile dysfunction supplements had had Viagra, Cialis or Levitra added to them and therefore any man who used these supplements was putting his life in danger. Ukmedix News advises that you should never use any medicine for erectile dysfunction unless you have previously discussed it with your doctor or you have a prescription for it.

The Food & Drug Administration of America has recently compiled a list of products that men should not use which have been shown to contain PDE-5 inhibitors or chemicals which are very similar to them. The dietary supplements to avoid are:

Actra-Rx, Actra-Sx, Nasutra, Neophase, Vigor-25, Libidus, Yilishen,  4EVERON, Liviro3, Lycium, Zimaxx, Barbarum L, Adam Free, True Man, Energy Max, HS Joy of Love, Rhino V Max, V.Max, NaturalUp, Blue Steel, Erextra, Strong Testis, Shangai Ultra, Super Shangai, Shangai Ultra X, Lady Shangai, Shangai Regular, Shangai Chaojimengnan and Hero.

If your erectile dysfunction supplement is not on this list it does not necessarily mean that it is safe to use.
