In New Delhi, India the legal establishment over the last few years has seen an increase of divorce and marital problems because of sexual function difficulties in men. A leading doctor from the Dept. of Urology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences outlined that doctors specialising in impotence have been increasingly asked to report on these medical matters to the law courts in divorce cases.
The interesting thing is that the rise in these cases is not due to more erectile dysfunction in men but due to the ever increasing demands of women and the greater awareness on the part of women on the sexual duties of the man in a marriage.
The modern Indian woman feels that she has a right to sex regularily from her husband and will use it as a reason for divorce in the law courts. This means that specialist erectile dysfunction doctors are dragged into the fray and have to give impartial medical evidence on the state of the sexual function of the man.
It is possible also that modern society in India is placing more and more demands on the man and this is increasing stress levels which are known to be a major facilitator of erectile dysfunction. Some men feel that the demands are too much with job stress, high financial expectations and the pressures of society.
The men however must seek medical help and not be afraid of seeing a doctor for what is after all only a simple medical problem and can often be cured instantly.
Erectile dysfunction can be caused by a number of reasons and so it is important to identify the underlying reason for the impotence. Sometimes ED can be the symptom of a more serious disease, such as heart disease or diabetes. In rare cases lack of testosterone was the underlying cause and this can be easily remedied.
The lack of information available to the average Indian man meant that bogus doctors would often take of a man's insecurities and prescribe improper useless medicine. The Indian government was being urged by leading Urologists to educate the men and women of India about the real reasons for erectile dysfunction. The funding of an information on erectile dysfunction campaign would greatly help Indian men on sexual health, and bring the problem into the open to be discussed properly and without shame.
Many older men experience what is known medically as called Andropause which is the male form of Menopause. Andropause causes erectile dysfunction and lack of stamina in the bedroom and these men could get medical help for the problem.
