Doggy Style More Likely To Cause Penile Breakage

A dangerous position is rear entry vaginal intercourse

The television program Grey's Anatomy has been responsible for the huge amount of internet searching for the words ‘penile fracture’ and ‘broken penis’ after one episode dealt with Dr. Mark Sloan fracturing his penis during passionate sex. Despite the terrifying sounding terms the vast majority of people who suffer from a broken penis end up getting it fixed and functioning properly after a few weeks. In fact statistics show that around 90 percent of men recover fully from a penile fracture.

Doggy Style More Likely To Cause Penile Breakage

There are a number of high risk sexual positions which have been known to increase the chances of your penis slipping out of where it is supposed to go and ending up being crushed by the female pubic bone. For example when the woman is on top her whole weight can bear down on your penis if it slips out of place. This is especially dangerous if she is a large woman and the sex is vigorous. If the woman bends too far forward or backwards to maximise her own pleasure she can put your penis under great stress and actually break it.

Another dangerous position is rear entry vaginal intercourse, (doggy style) because this makes the penis bend more at the base and thus it is under more pressure. A study conducted at the Brookdale University Hospital in New York and published by the British Journal of Urology International claims that 50 percent of penile fractures occur when in this position. Some reports even claim that the drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra give some men such confidence in the strength of their erections that they are careless with them and are thus are over athletic in the bedroom. Younger men are particularly at risk because of their extra strength and dexterity.

Ukmedix News advises men to be careful with their penises and they should always guide them into the vagina manually so that they don’t end up crashing and crushing them.

Look after it, you only have one!

We had such fun trying different positions that we became careless or even more adverntureous and I ended up in hospital! Take good care and do not think that it won't happen to you, I did and it did happen.
