Two men in China are in hospital following the use of a fake erectile dysfunction medication which was found to contain two prescription medications that were not listed on its labeling. The men both had to be rushed to intensive care in hospital and are said to be lucky to be alive. One of them is still in a serious condition and the other one appears to be making a good recovery.

The medications that they took were red rhomboid tablets and when the men gave urine samples at the hospital it was noted that the samples contained both glibenclamide and sildenafil.
This is not the first time that the health authorities in China have come across cases like this and we have been reporting extensively on this at Ukmedix News. The latest erectile dysfunction product found to contain dangerous chemicals was called Jiu Bian Wang and this product is not registered for sale by the Chinese health authorities.
Men need to be made aware of the fact that the criminal organisations are using glibenclamide in the thread erectile dysfunction products believing that it can help lower blood sugar which could help erectile function. However this is not the case and men who use it have been getting serious ill. Glibenclamide is actually a prescription medication which is sometimes prescribed to diabetics.
The Chinese authorities say there have been almost 60 cases of hospitalisation following the use of fake erectile dysfunction medication and 2 confirmed deaths. At Ukmedix News however we know that the real figures are much higher and that when deaths occurred due to using these medications they are often hushed up because the families are very embarrassed.
Another reason why the real statistics do not get reported is that people just think most of these deaths occur due to routine heart attacks and thus autopsies are not done to confirm the real cause of death.
So don’t be stupid, only use real branded erectile dysfunction medications with a prescription from a doctor.
