this product contained a whopping 68.1 mg of sibutramine

A natural and supposedly herbal erectile dysfunction remedy which was sold all over the United Kingdom has been tested and found to contain dangerous amounts of prescription pharmaceutical compounds according to the chief medical health watchdog in the United Kingdom.

The Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency said that the product which was described as 'Herbal Viagra' came from China and goes by the name of Jia Yi Jian. Not only did the product contain prescription compounds to treat impotence but also compounds to treat obesity and both of them were in dangerously high doses.

The first compound, Sibutramine is the active ingredient in the weight loss drug Reductil which is a legal prescription appetite suppressant in the United Kingdom but in this case the doses were far more than recommended. If this wasn't dangerous enough on its own the product also contained the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Cialis namely tadalafil.

Normally for Reductil the maximum dose of sibutramine taken is 15 mg yet this product contained a whopping 68.1 mg of sibutramine. The normal dose of tadalafil in the Cialis drug is 20mg yet the product tested here contained over 50mg of it.

The MHRA warned that these high levels of prescription medication could cause heart problems and serious health side effects. The tablets which are red and black in colour should be avoided at all costs.

This product is manufactured by a company called Hunan Aimin Pharmaceutical Ltd which gives its address as being in the Hunan Province in China.  Its promotional material makes clear that it is completely herbal yet the clinical testing has shown this to be patently untrue.

A spokeswoman for the MHRA said that an investigation was going on to discern how the drug got into the United Kingdom and questioning with police involvement was being done at health shops which sell traditional Chinese medicines.

Because so many of these fake Chinese medications come in packaging trying to make them look completely natural the advice from Ukmedix News is to stay away from anything unless it has been given to you by a doctor. No matter how 'green looking' and traditional the packaging is you should not use it!

What is wrong with just getting Viagra? Why do people bother with any herbal medicines. They just dont work otherwise major drug comanies would produce them. Wakey wakey everyone who uses herbal impotence meds!!!
