Avanafil will be launched on the market sometime at the beginning of 2012

Vivus the Pharmaceutical company hoping to launch a new drug to rival Viagra, Cialis and Levitra have upped the stakes in the battle for the multibillion pound worldwide market for impotence medication by issuing a press release saying that their new drug will be much faster than the others.

Avanafil Can Beat Viagra, Cialis And Levitra

Mr. Leland Wilson CEO of Vivus was quoted as saying that the"magnitude of success” for good and effective erectile function using the new drug Avanafil was “surprising.” He talked about how clinical testing done to satisfy Food & Drug Administration regulations showed a significant “differentiation of avanafil” from the other drugs currently available for treating impotence.

Mr. Wilson also said that the rapid functioning of an erectile dysfunction medication was an important factor in the decision about which erectile dysfunction therapy to use. Vivus claim that Avanafil functions in 15 minutes which could make it extremely popular for men who want to be more spontaneous in their love making. It is hoped that Avanafil will be launched on the market sometime at the beginning of 2012.

The other erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra tend to work after about 30 minutes which would make Avanafil’s 15 minutes very popular. The Cialis erectile dysfunction medication has had more success in capturing market share from Viagra because it differentiates itself effectively by working for as long as 36 hours as opposed to the four hours for both Viagra and Levitra.

Because Viagra is still the market leader and has such a powerful brand name taking market share from it is extremely difficult and that is why Avanafil will need a marketing strategy based on speed and quick functioning. Men have said that the waiting period while their erectile dysfunction medication takes effect can ruin the spontaneity of sex and lead to embarrassing and unsatisfying sex.

Ukmedix News will be looking out for any updates regarding the new Avanafil erectile dysfunction medication.

@Gerald, have you tried Viagra? If that doesn't work, avanafil probably won't either...
