A Different Type Of Vibrator, The Eroscillator

The Eroscillator will work by swinging backwards and forwards

A novel way of treating female sexual dysfunction is being researched by Marsha K. Guess from Yale University which should specifically help those women who have problems feeling and sensing vibrations.

A Different Type Of Vibrator, The Eroscillator

Dr Guess said that she suspects some women suffering from female sexual dysfunction suffer from a nerve problem which she thinks could be remedied by her new invention called the Eroscillator. This device works in a different way from the conventional vibrator by oscillating rather than vibrating. Dr Guess said that conventional vibrators could be actually dampening the vibration in women suffering from female sexual dysfunction and actually preventing them from having an orgasm. The Eroscillator will work by swinging backwards and forwards which she hopes will make a significant difference and enable women who don’t respond to conventional vibration to get an orgasm.

It should be remembered that a lot of female sexual problems are psychological as opposed to physical and so this remedy is unlikely to work for women with psychological hang ups with sex but could help those women who have less sensitive nerve endings in the genital region. A long term study is soon to be carried out to see whether the Eroscillator is effective and more importantly more effective than conventional vibrators.

Female sexual dysfunction is a poorly understood and poorly researched medical subject and despite treatments like the drug Intrinsa being launched in recent years millions of women fail to have an enjoyable and healthy sex life.  In the same way that men are often hesitant to discuss erectile dysfunction and get prescriptions for the impotence drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, women are often extremely embarrassed to discuss sexual issues.

Our advice at Ukmedix News is always to remember that there are millions of men and women suffering from sexual issues and going to a doctor to discuss them should not be something to be embarrassed about.
