No matter how rich and famous you are does not exempt you from suffering from male pattern baldness. Those of you who regularly watch Manchester United football games will notice that Wayne Rooney is definitely getting a little bit thin on top and apparently this is causing him a lot of anxiety. Media reports say that his team mates have nicknamed him Bobby Charlton in reference to the bald head of this famous football player who was also famous for having sported one of the world’s worst “comb overs” in history.

Wayne Rooney is only 22 years old meaning that he is particular unlucky to have been hit with male pattern baldness at such a young age. Male pattern baldness can strike men when they are as young as eighteen but normally does not start until men in their thirties. The younger that male pattern baldness strikes the more stressful that it tends to be for the men who suffer from it and Wayne Rooney is no exception.
Rumour has it that Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown are all teasing him about his hair loss and giving him a hard time. You should be extremely careful about teasing people about male pattern baldness because despite a nonchalant attitude to their hair loss sometimes men are extremely stressed about it privately.
Unfortunately for Wayne Rooney he will be unable to take the best medication for dealing with male pattern baldness on the market today namely Propecia. The reason for this is that Propecia is not allowed to be used by professional sportsmen because it has properties which can disguise the use of banned anabolic steroids. So Wayne will have to make a choice between having a full head of hair or continuing to play professional sport and it is pretty obvious what he’ll go for.
