Hair Transplant Surgery Becoming Normal

Hair transplant surgery used to be considered a little bit weird

If this current trend of celebrities having hair transplants continues there's no doubt that in a decade it will become completely routine and normal for every man suffering from male pattern baldness to spruce up his appearance every few years with a little bit of hair surgery. Let's face it, if everybody else is having surgery you would probably follow suit no matter what your opinion is now!

hair transplant surgery becoming normal

Hair transplant surgery used to be considered a little bit weird and only for extremely vain people. On top of this the quality of the hair implants used to be terrible and so that your scalp looked like the head of a child's doll with lots of hair plugs sprouting out ten or twenty hairs.

With the advances made in hair transplant surgery over the last two decades it really is now possible to have an operation which gives you normal looking hair and a normal looking scalp. The fact is that if your hair transplant operation makes it really obvious that you have undergone surgery on your head then the point of the whole exercise is wasted. If your hair transplant surgeon cannot guarantee a normal appearance on your scalp then you shouldn't go ahead.

The best way to make sure that you get a reputable hair transplant surgeon is to insist on meeting and talking to previous patients of the same surgeon. There's nothing like seeing the results for yourself and being able to discuss the whole process with somebody who has actually gone through it rather than just dealing with the surgeon who after all is going to benefit financially from you going ahead.

Practically all aging male Hollywood celebrities have had hair restoration surgery including Nicolas Cage, Jude Law, John Travolta and Mel Gibson. Many of them have also tried using the hair loss drug Propecia which can drastically slowdown male pattern baldness as well as in some cases even promote new hair growth. Propecia is the only prescription medication available in the UK to treat male pattern baldness.

What is wrong with a man looking after his looks!!! .......or his locks!!! As the case may be? I would rather go out with a well groomed man, it makes me feel good.
