According to a survey seen by Ukmedix News recently, men in the United Kingdom suffer from the psychological effects of male pattern baldness more than men on the mainland of Europe. Interestingly also they are the people who are the most probable not to take any action to stop it. Around 75 percent of males in the United Kingdom who are suffering from male pattern baldness admitted to having problems with self esteem and over 60 percent said that it makes them feel insecure too.

The statistics clearly showed that over 90 percent of the balding men in the United Kingdom never did anything to stop the onset of male pattern baldness. The figures for the rest of mainland Europe show that far more men in Italy, France and Spain go and get help for male pattern baldness. German men were also noted to worry a lot about their male pattern baldness but unlike the men of the United Kingdom were far more likely to go and get help to stop it.
Men in the United Kingdom were also seem to be far more sceptical and wary of hair loss cures and believed that the majority of them were completely bogus. Men in the United Kingdom tend to shave their heads or keep their hair very short to minimise the visual impact of the hair loss. It is estimated that around six and a half million males living in the United Kingdom suffer from male pattern baldness and the majority of these men would probably benefit from using hair loss treatment.
There are many bogus hair loss remedies on the market and therefore you must be careful about what you buy. To be safe you should stick to drugs that have been approved by medical authorities around the world and without a doubt the two most successful hair loss drugs in the world are Propecia made by the drug company Merck and minoxidil which is a lotion put onto the scalp.
