What To Do About Hair Loss

Not all men are equal! Firstly some get hair loss and some don’t and it just comes down to whether you have a hair loss gene or not. There is nothing that a man can do to find out if he will get hair loss at an older age. He can look at his father and other members of his family on both sides and if the older men all have a full head of hair than the chances are that he will be OK. You can’t be sure though and the old wives tale that says that you inherit your hair genes from your maternal grandfather is just simply not true.
Fifty years ago many men opted for the comb over style to cover up their balding patches and it was not considered that stupid or ridiculous to do that. Today any man who has a comb over haircut is facing ridicule and shame. Today the thing that many men do is to cut their hair very short and even shave their heads completely. This can be good for some men and actually suit them, to make them look better than they did when they had hair. Not all men are suited to the bald shaven head look however and those with bumpy heads and big heads do not suit the look as much as some other men.
If you are suffering from Male Pattern Balding it is probably best if you keep your hair very short as it will not be so obvious and when eventually you suffer from bald patches they will not show up so much. The medicine that has the best track record for stopping male pattern balding in men is without a doubt the Propecia drug. Propecia is a prescription medicine that can even reverse male pattern balding in some men.
