Using Cosmetic Hair Loss Sprays

you are simply covering up a problem and not getting to grips with it

We recently decided to do a little bit of research at Ukmedix News on products that cosmetically thicken the hair and which are targeted at men suffering from male pattern baldness. These products do not claim to actually regrow hair or to really make hair thicker but just concentrate on the visual aspect of making hair look thicker.

using cosmetic hair loss sprays

For example one product that we came across comes in the form of a spray that that attaches tiny particles of hair to existing hairs to make them look thicker and fuller. The idea is that you spray these particles on your head and therefore the thinning patches on your scalp will not be as quite so obvious.

There are two schools of thought when it comes to these types of cosmetic products, (and there are lots of different cosmetic remedies out there). Some people say that anything that covers the male pattern baldness should be considered a good thing as it is effective at doing what it says it will do. However having discussed this at length in the Ukmedix Newsroom there were quite a lot of people who reckon that cosmetic hair loss products were actually detrimental to the overall problem of male pattern baldness and their reasoning goes like this.....

If you use a cosmetic hair loss product which does not actually cure the root cause of male pattern baldness you are simply covering up a problem and not getting to grips with it. Not only that but by cosmetically altering your appearance to make yourself appear to have less of a hair loss problem what you are doing is merely aggravating the problem. Eventually you'll get to the point where you have so little of your real hair left that the cosmetic sprays to thicken your hair will not be sufficient and you'll end up looking very bald.

If you start to suffer from male pattern baldness and you actually want to do something about your hair loss problem it is essential that you get proper medical advice and relying on cosmetic sprays is only a short term solution to a long term problem.

The other thing that you must consider is that these cosmetic sprays normally come in different colours to match your particular hair colour and thus the chances of you finding an exact match for your hair colour are quite slim. This could mean that you actually highlight your hair loss problem even more than if you had never used the hair loss spray in the first place.
