At present the odds are 1,000/1

Poor Prince William! More and more column inches are being devoted to his hair loss in UK newspapers as speculation mounts that he may or may not marry his long term girlfriend Kate Middleton. Prince William who has inherited his male pattern baldness from both his mother’s side of the family and his father’s side of the family has only lost a little bit of his hair but being in the spotlight and having his photograph taken hundreds of times a day has brought his hair loss condition into the public consciousness.

Bet On Prince William

William Hill the bookmaker not to miss an opportunity has even placed odds on whether Prince William will be the face of a hair loss advertisement promoting some anti balding product in 2008. At present the odds are 1,000/1 which is the same as the odds on National Service being reinstated in the United Kingdom. Incidentally the odds of Prince William being crowned King in 2008 are only 200/1 and the chances of him getting engaged to Kate Middleton this year are put at 5/2.

Male pattern baldness can be extremely stressful for some men especially young men who are still playing the field. Ukmedix News has spoken to a number of men who say that the fact that they started to go bald was a wake up call for them to settle down and get married. Maybe the fact that Prince William is starting to lose his hair could have something to do with him getting back with his girlfriend and maybe it could push him into marriage!

However on the other side of the argument it is unlikely that Prince William would have trouble with the ladies whether he was bald or not!
