A few months ago Ukmedix News reported on a novel new treatment for hair loss that was given approval by the Food & Drug Administration in America. The Laser Comb that sends out rays of some sort into the scalp was tested extensively and found to stimulate the hair follicles in men suffering from male pattern baldness and it was seen that hair loss in some cases slowed down.

With around 35 million men suffering from male pattern baldness in America the Laser Comb has a very big market. Investors have been quick to capitalise on this and now a new treatment that utilises lasers in a different way is now being marketed.
The new treatment looks like something out of a science fiction movie and it is called the Sunetics Advanced Laser Therapy System. Instead of being just a comb which you run through our hair it is actually a laser helmet that you put on for a set time everyday. The people making the laser helmets say that it is much more effective than the Laser Comb because it covers a much larger area of the head and it is much more powerful too.
They say that it is about ten times more powerful than the standard Laser Comb and is easier to use as you can be stationary when it is on. They also said that many people using the Laser Comb reported that it was tiresome to use as it had to be run through your hair for twenty minutes every day to work properly and thus many men got bored and fed up with using it. They also reported that their arms would get tired after using it for a number of minutes and thus they would give up.
Sunetics also said that their Laser Helmet was completely safe and did not cause any pain to the men using it. A slight tingling sensation was all that was reported. Sunetics Advanced Laser Therapy System will not come cheap as a year long treatment program is expected to cost over £2,000 and you will be expected to continue using the special hair loss helmet at three monthly intervals for the rest of your life.
The hair loss helmet is not available in the United Kingdom at present but Ukmedix News will let you know when it is.
