A new company called HairDX has announced that they are manufacturing a special genetic test which will help men to know at an early age whether they are likely to suffer from male pattern baldness in the future. The idea is that young men who are not balding yet could take this genetic test so that they could start on medication for male pattern baldness before it actually starts to affect them. HairDX said that their test looked for a specific genetic pattern which is found in over 95 percent of men suffering from male pattern baldness.

If a young man could take this test when he was say 25 he could start to plan and for example start to use the Propecia hair loss drug so that he will nip any balding problem in the bud. It would be especially useful for actors and people in the public eye who require a good head of hair for their jobs.
The majority of men can look around at their family members on both their mother’s side and their father’s side and if there is a high incidence of male pattern baldness the chances are they will also suffer from it too. Nevertheless in some cases a man whose family have a full head of hair could suffer from male pattern baldness and other men who have lots of balding relatives maintain their hair throughout their lives. This test will confirm for sure [95%] whether you will suffer from male pattern baldness and could put your mind at rest.
The manufacturers of this genetic test say that it is possible to get the results by doing a cheek swab in the comfort of your own home and so the results can be completely confidential. They say that the simplicity of this test makes it extremely popular and they say sales are very good.
Ukmedix News cannot vouch for the reliability of this genetic testing for male pattern baldness.
