Ukmedix has no interest in cosmetic hair care but when people don't look after their hair properly and the cometic stuff that they put in their hair causes it to weaken and fall out then ukmedix has something to say. Ukmedix is also concerned with the problem that there is a lot of rubbish found on the internet in terms of hair loss products and hair regaining advice.
For example many people say that frequent shampooing will dry out your hair and cause it to be brittle but research has shown that this staement is not true and that with the right shampoo your hair moisture levels are not effected and can even be replenished. It is important to note that the level of oil in the hair is not the measure of the hair's mositure level and that the oil is just there to maintain the skin on the scalp and to stop the moisture evaporating. People who have greasy hair will find that the oil in the hair will come back very quickly after you wash it.
Some people say that by using lemon or vinegar rinses can add a shine and make your hair look healthy but these days all you require is a good conditioner and a good shampoo for healthy looking hair. Another hair care myth is that by rinsing your hair in beer it will get a bigger volume but yet again this is not true and resorting to foul smelling beer when there are many hair care products on the market that can do this much more safely and effectively is not sensible.
There are also many natural dandruff remedies that might or might not work but why risk the chance of harming your hair when there are many sensible anti dandruff shampoos available on the market that can be easily bought and used. Some people even advocate the use of mouthwash on your scalp to get rid of dandruff! Some people like to make blanket statements like the one that blow drying is bad for your hair but this again is not necessarily true and if you blow dry with care and you don't over do it by continuing to dry hair that is already dry then there should be no problem and the hair will not be harmed at all.
Whatever you do be sensible with your hair care and always go for mainstream products that have been tried and tested so that you will be secure in the knowledge that you are not damaging your hair. Weak and damaged hair is more likely to fall out and you should therefore try to maintain the health of your hair at all times.
