80 percent of them said that losing hair was of serious concern

A survey done for The Alopecia Clinic in the United Kingdom shows that men are extremely concerned about losing their hair and some of them are even more concerned about going bald than they are about getting sick, going senile, losing their sex drive or getting wrinkles. The survey which was aimed at men between the age of 20 years old and 35 asked them about what they were most concerned about as they got older. The results showed that over 80 percent of them said that losing hair was of serious concern to them and 25% said that it was their "greatest fear" about getting old.

many men say baldness is their big fear

Medical research has previously shown that the psychological implications of hair loss cause men to get very depressed and to be less confident and sure about themselves.  Many men associate hair loss with the loss of their youth and they feel less manly and virile. According to the Alopecia clinic less than one percent of people suffering from male pattern baldness actually go out and get help. The reason for this is primarily because they do not believe that there are any treatments which actually work and secondly because they are embarrassed to discuss their condition with a doctor.

Many doctors are not sympathetic to men who come to see them about male pattern baldness especially if they have lost their hair themselves.  There is another problem in that there are hundreds of bogus hair losses remedies which really do not work and many men have had bad experiences with them. If you are suffering from male pattern baldness today there are definite solutions for you such as the hair loss drug Propecia and also minoxidil, but you must not use anything else unless it has been prescribed to you by a doctor because it really will not work.

If hair loss is really affecting your confidence and really making you feel depressed you need to get help for it sooner rather than later. Get an online consultation at Ukmedix and see what can be done to help you.

Stuart, if you had to choose between boldness or impotence, which one would you choose?
