Ukmedix knows alot about hair loss and its causes and realises that it is important to cut out the rubbish and only focus on what is effective and really works. There is no definitive cure for hair loss only a number of ways of slowing and stopping it. Recently the world famous Mayo Clinic published its monthly Health Letter and the advice that it gave mirrors the advice that Ukmedix gives to its patients. The first thing to do is get medical advice and this can be done using the Ukmedix website. It is important to establish the actual cause of the hair loss as there are many different causes and they need to be treated differently.
The vast majority of cases of hair loss in men are to do with male pattern balding and this is genetic and not to do with poor health or diet as some people think. If it is established that you are suffering from MPB than the only two remedies available that have been the subjects of serious clinical testing and independent research are minoxidil and finasteride sold as Rogaine and Propecia respectively. These are the only 2 drugs that have full EMEA and FDA approval and thus are safe and effective.
In most genetic hair loss cases these 2 drugs are effective in slowing or stoppig the hair loss. In a very few cases the medications can actually get hair growing back. Individuals react differently to Propecia and Rogaine. Minoxidil (Rogaine) is applied straight on to the top of the head and can also be used by women who suffer from hair loss. With minoxidil about 7% of men actually get hair regrowth and about 75% report that the hair loss had slowed.
The other drug is finasteride (Propecia) that is taken in the form of a little pill each morning and is only allowed for use in men as it can have serious side effects in pregnant women and cause harm to an unborn foetus. It works by blocking the DHT hormone in the scalp that kills hair follicles. Propecia is probably the most effective hair loss formula worldwide and is very easy to take and use.
If these two remedies don't work then Ukmedix advises that you do not search for any other drugs for hair loss no matter how good the advert sounds because if it was so good it would have approval from the appropriate authorities and would be well known. The only other serious option is a hair transplant and there are number of different procedures that can get the hair back on your head. Ukmedix advises that you go and see reputable surgeon for a consultation and think carefully before proceeding.
