P&G Invest In Curis For Hair Loss

Procter & Gamble the industrial giant that makes the world famous Head & Shoulders and Pantene shampoos are supporting an operation to beat baldness and hair loss with a one million dollar investment.
Curis the company in question has reached a number of agreements with P&G for clinical hair growth testing and have been promised a further investment of almost 2 million if certain targets are met. Curis is looking into treatment for male and female pattern hair loss that can be put straight onto the scalp.
At present the work is still at early stages and more is needed to get it ready for FDA approval and commercial sales. Hair loss medicine is a growth sector in the pharmaceuticals market and many different research programs are continuing in the quest for find good hair loss cures.
The company Curis is based in the U.S. and is mainly concerned with drug research projects in a number of medical sectors. Procter and Gamble also based in the US is known for being the biggest worldwide consumer products manufacturer.
