Chavez is said to have been extremely touched and moved by this support.

Hugo Chavez Venezuela's erratic and extroverted leader who is fighting a battle against cancer has lost his hair and in a show of solidarity for their President, many Venezuelan men and even some women have shaved their heads.  Chavez is said to have been extremely touched and moved by this support.

In the Ukmedix Newsroom we reckon that this raises an important point about hair loss, which is that hair loss is not a problem at all provided that everybody else is losing their hair too! The best way to make somebody who is suffering from hair loss feel better is to lose your hair yourself!

If in a group of friends all of you have a thick head of hair but just one of you is bald that person will feel insecure and extremely conscious about his hair loss. If on the other hand all of your friends are bald or at least going that way you will not be as aware of the problem.

At Ukmedix News we have even spoken to men with thinning hair who say that when they see their friends also losing hair it makes them feel better about their problem. Just knowing that they are not the only one suffering from male pattern baldness is a great comfort.

Men who start to lose their hair when they are in their early twenties obviously suffer much more than men who start to lose their hair  in their forties and fifties because by this time the majority of men are losing hair.

Hair loss should not be a major problem but for certain individuals who are self conscious about their appearances it can be devastating. It is possible to get help for male pattern baldness and the best treatment is the hair loss drug Propecia which slows down and even stops the genetic process which causes hair follicles to fall out.

If hair loss is something which really worries you, you should get medical help because the stress, anxiety and lack of confidence will do you a lot of harm.
