Andre Agassi Admits Drug Use

The legendary bald tennis player Andre Agassi has created a storm in the news after admitting that he made use of the drug crystal meth as well as his admission that he lied to the tennis governing body, the ATP in order to prevent himself from being banned. Andre Agassi admitted that he took the drugs when he was at a very low point in his career and also when he had just started shaving his head because he realised that he could not battle with his male pattern baldness. Could his use of the crystal meth drug be connected with the stress of losing his hair?

At the time that he started to lose his hair in about 1993 the male pattern drug Propecia was not available, and in any case he would have been unable to use it because it when it did come out it was not allowed to be used by professional sportsmen. (It is now allowed for use by the WADA.) He admitted that he did consider having a hair transplant or making use of a wig but realised that on a tennis court a wig would be a serious liability and could come flying off. Shaving his head was the only option really available to him and he pulled it off with style and panache which was an inspiration to millions of bald men around the world.
While Andre Agassi talks about his baldness as something he has now learned to deal with, at the time it was extremely depressing for him especially as he was very much into looking good on the tennis court. If you look at early pictures of him you’ll see that he had long hair and a cocky outlook which made him one of the most popular tennis players around.
Losing your hair confidently is important. If you decide not to make use of hair restoration remedies such as Propecia you should deal with your male pattern baldness head on. Make sure that you are fit and slim and make an extra effort with the rest of your appearance so that you are not defined by your lack of hair on your head.

Is there any truth in the saying that bald men are better in bed than their hairy mates? Am interested as I am losing my hair and would like to hang on to a positive aspect!
