And You Think Your Hair Loss Is A Problem...

The average man who begins to suffer from male pattern baldness is likely to go through a little bit of trauma about his condition but the people who really suffer from the psychological implications of hair loss are celebrities whose every move is monitored by the world media. They can’t even put on a pound in weight without headlines screaming about them binge eating and losing control of their waistline, so you can imagine how difficult it must be for them to start seeing their hair disappearing.

For example Jude Law has unflattering photographs taken of him practically every week and is known to loathe the paparazzi with a passion. Other actors who are hounded by the press and speculated on regarding their male pattern baldness are Ben Affleck, John Travolta and Edward Norton with many people saying that they make use of toupees or wigs. For men like these having hair is not just a question of vanity and cosmetic appearance but is connected to their earning power and desirability as actors. By going bald they could lose their celebrity power and thus end up on the B list of the movie world.
Not all actors have the macho image that baldness can foster like Bruce Willis and Vin Diesel both of whom have managed to make their male pattern baldness work for them and their ‘look’. Incidentally one of the things that we have often written about as Ukmedix News is that if you are losing your hair you should make an extra effort to get into shape. Being physically fit and making an extra effort with your appearance will shift the emphasis away from your balding scalp and also boost your confidence.
You should also know that studies have shown that women are more attracted to balding men than they are too men who wear hairpieces, toupees or wigs.

"Jude Law has unflattering photographs taken of him practically every week." Uh, what photos are you looking at? I see quite a number of very flattering photos. I'm a woman...and his hairline doesn't detract from him whatsoever in my eyes. So much to love.

Yeah Jude Law is gorgeous. If only regular guys look as unflattering, I'd be a happy woman.
