Crestor Side Effects and Contra-indications

As with many medicines, it is important to be aware of the possible side effect with Crestor and inform your personal physician of any complication you may experience whilst on this medication.

The more common side effects are:

• Abdominal Pain
• Headache
• Nausea
• Asthenia
• Myalgia
• Constipation
• Dizziness

In rarer circumstances, people may experience muscle damage so if you experience any tenderness or pain in your muscles while you are taking Crestor, inform your doctor, it may be causing side effects in your muscles. Also if you experience any difficulty breathing or any other symptoms as weight loss, fatigue or fever you should consult with your doctor. Those symptoms can be associated with lung disease.

Caution: medical advice should be required before taking Crestor if you:

• Are over 70 years old.
• Are of asian Heritage.
• Suffer from Kidney or liver disease
• Have a history of hereditary muscle disorders.
• Have any allergies to any of the ingredients of Crestor.
• Are pregnant or intend to become pregnant.
• Are breastfeeding

Contra-indications of Crestor
