The Hong Kong Dept of Health has issued an urgent warning regarding a product called Longifolia which they recently tested and found to contain an illegally manufactured version of the active ingredient found in the erectile dysfunction medications Cialis. The medical authorities also ordered the distributor of the product to contact all of the shops where it was sold and immediately recall it. The product which made no mention of its active ingredient on the labeling was specifically targeted at men who suffer from sexual dysfunction.

It can only be described as criminally irresponsible to manufacture a product to treat erectile dysfunction and not mention that it contains a drug which can interact with other medications to cause potentially fatal low blood pressure. It is only because health authorities are now becoming aware that the majority of so called natural sexual dysfunction products actually contain doctored versions of powerful prescription medication that they have stepped up the random testing of them.
These types of products have killed many people around the world but very often the manufacturers get away with murder because they operate from remote locations in third world countries. Sometimes the distributors and the actual retail sellers of the medications are unaware of the dangerous levels of chemicals in the product and they themselves believe that they are merely selling a harmless natural product.
The idea that you can cure yourself of erectile dysfunction using a herb is idiotic and at Ukmedix News we worry about the sanity of men who actually buy these products. If they were effective and safe they would replace the legal prescription erectile dysfunction medications Viagra, Cialis and Levitra wouldn’t they?
So any man out there who thinks that he’s going to solve a bedroom problem with anything other than the trio of legal erectile dysfunction medications should really be questioning his intelligence and logical thinking.
