Cialis Making Waves

Cialis has been making a lot of headlines recently not least because of the fact that its parent companies are parting ways and now Cialis will be completely owned by the drug giant Eli Lilly. Cialis also continues to make waves in the erectile dysfunction world because of its growing popularity and because it keeps on taking market share from Pfizer’s Viagra.

The big advantage of Cialis is that it can remain effective for up to 36 hours unlike Viagra and Levitra that only have a time window for sexual activity of 4 hours. This is very important for some men as they don’t like to have to plan sex down to a few hours but like to be able to be spontaneous in their love making. In France Cialis is nicknamed Le Weekend Pill as if it is taken on a Friday night it will help men maintain erectile function right through until the early part of Sunday morning.

Before Eli Lilly’s buy out of ICOS there were ideas to have a new Cialis pill that would be called Cialis Once A Day which would be a low dose of the active ingredient taladafil and would be able to be consumed by men everyday in order to maintain good sexual function all the time. It will be soon seen whether Eli Lilly will continue with these plans when they have total control of the company. (The deal still has to be OK’ed by financial regulators.)

Cialis that comes in the way of a small yellow pill was the second erectile dysfunction drug to come on the market and thus it did not have the headstart that Viagra had by being the pioneering drug that made it so famous. You can read about what people think about the Cialis erectile dysfunction drug on the Ukmedix forum as well as discussions about Viagra, Levitra and many erectile dysfunction issues.
