...rather then blame his own sexual apparatus for his erection problem.

The drug company Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of Cialis, has been doing some research in South Korea regarding the likelihood of men using erectile dysfunction medication. According to the survey over 3/4 of all men in Korea would use one of the three sexual performance drugs, (Viagra, Cialis or Levitra.)

Eli Lilly Erectile Dysfunction Survey

The survey asked almost 800 men questions about their sex lives. Interestingly they found that just over 70 percent of men admitted that on at least one occasion they had faced the humiliation of erectile dysfunction. Just under three quarters of all men said that they would happily use erectile dysfunction medication if they had ongoing sexual problems.

The survey was done online and the reason for this is that men are very hesitant and unlikely to give the truth is they are interviewed face to face. With a subject as sensitive as erectile dysfunction the best way to interview people is in such a way that the replies to questions are completely anonymous and men do not feel that their sexual problems can be identified and traced back to them.

The reasons that the men gave for not being able to perform sexually were varied and 33 percent said that their problem was purely physical. Thirty two percent of men said that they had a ‘lack of emotional communication’ with their sexual partner and seventeen percent blamed an ‘unstable state of mind’. From our extensive research at Ukmedix News we know that the vast majority of erectile dysfunction is not actually caused by mental problems but by physical ones. In fact around 90% of all erectile dysfunction tends to be physical.

From the results of this survey however one would get the impression that the vast majority of erectile dysfunction was purely psychological. Often men like to think that the reason that they are not able to get erect is in their mind when in fact it is purely physical. A man is also likely to blame outside influences like poor emotional communication for an unstable state of mind rather then blame his own sexual apparatus for his erection problem.

Just over half of all men said that when they were not able to get erect it damaged their pride and made them think about their health. At Ukmedix News we know that the real figure would in fact be much higher but only some men admit that their pride was hurt. Almost a quarter of the men interviewed said that their erectile dysfunction was not really something they would worry about but again the true figure is much higher as all men would be concerned about erectile dysfunction.
