The police said that they have collected around 20,000 fake Cialis tablets

A new erectile dysfunction drugs bust has occurred in Thailand in a specially planned operation by the police. Two men from Japan were caught selling fake Cialis pills that looked exactly like the originals and where practically indistinguishable even to experts. The 2 men Yuya Ohama and Takahiro Ogawa where living in the lap of luxury at an up market apartment. Altogether the police said that they have collected around twenty thousand fake Cialis impotence tablets. The men were using the Internet to sell the drugs and would post the drugs to people in Japan.

These illegal internet operations often base themselves in a country different to the one in which the sell the impotence drugs as they feel that the chances of getting caught by the police or by angry customers is much less. They often make their websites look as if they are locally based but this is rarely the case.

In the UK we see websites with Union Jacks on them that are based in India, Pakistan or China and that post the fake drugs from there and take you money from your credit card in Rupees at exorbitant exchange rates. It is also much more difficult for people to get refunds on their credit cards if the person they have to get the money from is in a different country.

In this Thai police raid all the sales sheets and customer lists have also been confiscated so that the police will be aware of exactly how much money these criminals made. Eli Lilly is stepping up its anti counterfeiting efforts by employing people to purchase fake drugs on the internet and then tracking them down and informing the local police. Pfizer who make Viagra have also been doing the same thing as the illegal trade in erectile dysfunction drugs is seriously harming their profits.
