despite her healthy appearance in this TV series she is a full on smoker

The actress Katherine Heigl is a favourite in the Ukmedix newsroom. She is primarily famous for her role in the extremely popular TV series Gray’s Anatomy in which she plays a trainee doctor with a big heart and also for being exceptionally beautiful. Not many people however are aware that despite her healthy appearance in this TV series she is a full on smoker!

Katherine Heigl

Recently engaged to be married, her husband to be has put it on record that he wants her to give up smoking as a wedding present for him. Katharine is determined to give it a try so that she will start her marriage smoke free. Setting a date for quitting smoking is always a good idea but Katherine must be aware that she must really want to quit smoking herself and not be just doing it because of pressure from other people.

Katherine need to focus on the positive aspects of giving up the habit such as the fact that her skin will start to look better and she is less likely to get wrinkles. Apart from the cosmetic aspects of giving up smoking she will also be much healthier, and less likely to suffer from heart disease or stroke and less likely to suffer from cancer as well as a whole list of other illnesses.

It is ironic that an actress who plays a doctor in a hospital and who is even promoting a whole range of medical accessories continues with such an unhealthy habit. Katherine also needs to consider that she is far more likely to have healthy children and not suffer from any pregnancy complications if she quits smoking now.

There is never a bad time to give up smoking and the best time to quit is now!
