Up until very recently Barack Obama was a smoker. The man who could be president claims that he has successfully given up smoking despite being under a huge amount of pressure fighting a drawn out election campaign again Hillary Clinton.

Barack Obama was recently interviewed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America where he said that when he had chatted to his wife about the possibility of running for the presidency of the United States she said that she would only support him if he would quit smoking for good.
Barack Obama said that his wife had been a great support to him when he was quitting and said that she had said he had to quit completely well before the pressure of the campaign became too much because he would be likely to start again if he was put under too much stress early on.
Barack Obama said that he has been using nicotine gum to help him with the cravings for a cigarette and that it has not been easy. At Ukmedix News from our research we know that probably the most helpful thing that Barack Obama has is his wife support. Having someone close to you to support you with your smoking cessation can motivate you and drive you on.
Smoking is becoming increasingly unfashionable and a sign of character weakness in the western world and there is no doubt that Barack Obama would stay well away from the cameras if he was having a cigarette. It is likely that a photograph of him smoking would be used by his political opponent to make him look shifty and weak.
The President of the United States of America should be a man that doesn’t smoke as he needs to send out a good example to fellow Americans. At Ukmedix News we wish Barack Obama the best of luck with his smoking cessation attempt.
