Smoke Free For A Month, But Watch Out

Once a smoker, always a smoker!

If you have not smoked since New Year’s Eve, Ukmedix News would like to extend their congratulations to you as well as their grudging respect for a task well done! Quitting smoking is never easy but the good news is that if you have shown yourself that you can quit for a month there is no reason why you can’t quit and stay smoke free for the rest of your life.

smoke free for a month, but watch out

If you are a man you have probably already noticed that your erectile function has improved and that you feel generally better, fitter and more healthy. If you are a woman you will have probably noticed that your skin looks better and that you also feel healthier.

Sometimes after the initial euphoria of having quit smoking people let down their guard and think that just because they have been smoke free for a month they have nothing to fear from cigarettes. They could not be more wrong because while the day to day cravings may have subsided, ex smokers are in danger of picking up a cigarette in a rash moment when under stress or pressure and this one cigarette could set them back drastically.

From our own research we have seen this happen many times at Ukmedix News where individuals are lulled into a false sense of security and confidence because they have quit smoking for a short while and think that they are now on top of their addiction, when in fact all that has happened is that they have merely suppressed it for the short term.

Ex smokers will need to be vigilant for the rest of their lives and at Ukmedix News we like to say that: Once a smoker, always a smoker!

Keep your guard up and whatever you do, do not let smoking ruin your life!
