Robbie is planning to start a family soon with the actress Ayda Field

Legendary singer Robbie Williams has made a pledge to quit smoking to keep his fiancée happy. Robbie is no mild smoker with a habit which consists of around 60 cigarettes daily. His first step has been to cut down to around ten daily before taking a big jump to go completely smoke free.

Robbie Williams Throwing Out The Fags

Robbie is planning to start a family soon with the actress Ayda Field and is aware of the damage that tobacco can do to sperm quality. Robbie is said to have been convinced to quit by the love and support that Ayda gives him. Ukmedix News knows that one of the worst things you can do is to nag people to quit smoking and that you should always gently encourage and support.

Ayda and Robbie have banned smoking inside their Los Angeles house and have also got a personal trainer so Robbie can get into shape. Getting fit and healthy at the same time as quitting smoking increases the chances of success and also reduces the stress and strain caused by nicotine cravings.

The way we see it at Ukmedix News is that Ayda Field could well be saving Robbie’s life.  Smoking 60 cigarettes a day into your thirties is not sustainable and would eventually lead into an early grave. Not only would Robbie be more likely to die young but the chances would be that he would die from a painful and unpleasant illness.

The other obvious and glaring reason for Robbie Williams to quit is that he is a singer and that smoking ruins the voices of good singers. Only recently at Ukmedix News we wrote about how Mick Jagger was warning Joss Stone to stay away from smoking if she wanted to retain her voice as she got older. It is obvious that many older singers like Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger bitterly regret having smoked so much in their youth as their voices are not a patch on what they were.

Come on Robbie you can do it!
