Her daughters have also been begging her to stop

One of the recent stars of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has attracted a lot of unwanted media attention after being photographed smoking despite being three months pregnant!  Kim Zolciak was snapped by paparazzi puffing away while watching her boyfriend Kroy Biermann playing for his American football team the Atlanta Falcons.

Kim who already has two daughters is a very heavily addicted smoker who has been told to quit many times by her doctor and her vocal coach. Her daughters have also been begging her to stop smoking and even reportedly threw her cigarettes in the rubbish bin. The baby's father Kroy Biermann is not a smoker and obviously takes his health extremely seriously because he is a professional athlete.

Whether she likes it or not Kim is going to have to deal with a massive media backlash portraying her as selfish, twisted and deranged for smoking when pregnant. With all the information out there about how smoking increases the chances of problems during pregnancy she cannot get away with it or pretend that she is unaware of the risks.

Smoking when pregnant has been shown to increase the chances of premature births, low birth weights, respiratory illnesses and a whole lot of other birth defects. There is no doubt that Kim Zolciak has a serious addiction to cigarettes but she has no right to continue to smoke and she should quit right now.

One thing is for sure, and that is that Kroy Biermann is not happy about her smoking when pregnant because after all it is his child too and what man would not step in to try and protect the health of his unborn child. If Kim Zolciak doesn't quit immediately she won't just have to be concerned about her public image but she'll have to deal with the wrath of a father trying to protect his child.
