Mick Jagger won’t stop hassling singer Joss Stone to quit smoking

The latest celebrity health news is that frontman from the Rolling Stones Sir Mick Jagger won’t stop hassling singer Joss Stone to quit smoking! He tells her that she’ll ruin her amazing singing voice which she uses so well in her hit single ‘You Had Me’. The other bit of advice that he gives her is to put honey in her hot drinks because it will sooth her throat and keep her voice from getting worn out.

Joss Stone Taking Quit Smoking Advice From Rolling Stones Singer

If you sing and you are smoking you really need to take stock of your situation and remember that you are not just damaging your health but you could also be damaging your future earning potential. As you age your voice gets weaker and if you smoke on top of that it’ll get weaker faster. Elderly singers like Paul McCartney know exactly what we’re talking about especially after his performance at the X factor finals which showed that he is well beyond his prime.

Joss Stone, like Pink find it hard to quit because of the party animal lifestyle that they lead. It much more difficult for rock star to quit smoking than it is for an accountant but it is much more important for a rock star to have a healthy singing voice that is for an accountant too. Singers also have the problem that they often have to sing in crowded smoky atmospheres which puts even more pressure on their voices. Singers must make sure that they get a lot of water and stay away from smoke as much as possible.

Joss Stone is already admitting that she suffers from a chronic smoking addiction but as she put it herself she does “try to stop, I do, but it's hard." Our advice to her from Ukmedix News is too quit right now because it is only going to get more difficult as time goes on and she may even find it too difficult in future.
