Jo's decision to quit smoking has a lot to do with her turbulent private life

The ex-wife of rock and roll legend Ronnie Wood has been battling with her addiction to cigarette smoking recently and has vowed to quit once and for all. Despite being under a great deal of stress recently following a messy break up with the Rolling Stones lothario, Jo Wood is determined to get healthy.

Jo Wood Kicking Her Smoking Habit

Sometimes it takes a personal shock for people to decide to take their lives into their own hands and clean up their act and it is likely that Jo Wood’s decision to quit smoking has a lot to do with her turbulent private life at the moment. It is commendable that she has decided to quit at this point in her life as many weaker individuals would have reached for the cigarettes even more.

Jo is not a heavy smoker and she claims that she only smokes around five a day. She has decided to make use of a hypnotherapist and is also quitting with a friend. Quitting together is a very good idea and research shows that this can increase the chances of the succeeding.

Another ex wife of a Rolling Stone namely Jerry Hall appears however not to be remotely interested in quitting smoking and still smokes at any opportunity. Jerry Hall it obviously extremely addicted to quitting smoking because not only is it harmful for health but also for her career as a model. People who smoke have far worse skin and look much older than people who don’t.

Smoking is becoming increasingly socially unacceptable and this has helped many people to quit the habit. The smoking ban in public places has also been extremely successful in the United Kingdom and has stopped many people falling off the bandwagon when they go to pubs and nightclubs.

Ukmedix News wishes Jo the best of luck with her attempt to quit.

The smoking ban for "public places"is a joke. For the full length of some town/city streets at certain times of the day we are faced with groups huddled outside offices/shops puffing away.We obviously have no rights to clean air in this instance.I can not even go to a carboot sale without having to breathe in clouds of this noxious smoke.Nasty stuff,a big lung full can almost stop you in your tracks, never mind the fact you are outdoors.
