Fighting Back Harder Is The Key

Remember smoking will kill you eventually

If you recently messed up with your quit smoking attempt and you went out on a big night and were tempted to have a cigarette you may be feeling pissed off and angry with yourself!  Instead of feeling demoralized and depressed which can lead to a downward cycle of more smoking and general unhealthiness you should instead remind yourself that now is the time to fight harder.

fighting back harder is the key

Think of it like being in the boxing ring with your deadliest enemy, someone who has sworn to kill you. If he knocks you down once it doesn't mean that the war is over and in fact it should make you fight back with more determination.

Just because you smoked last time you went out and had a few beers does not mean that you have to have a cigarette the next time you go out. don't make feeble excuses and winge and whine about how you are feeling but just Man Up and face the music.

Remember smoking will kill you eventually. Whether it gets you suddenly in the form of a heart attack or whether it slowly kills you with emphysema, lung cancer or with one of the other hundreds of illnesses that it brings on and aggravates, it will eventually get you.

If you need smoking cessation advice you can get it in many ways from Ukmedix. You can discuss your smoking habit on the Ukmedix forum and even have doctor's consultation with the possibility of ordering the smoking cessation medication Champix. In independent clinical tests it has been shown that Champix greatly increases the chances of success.

Always remember that the quicker you quit smoking the better. The longer you leave it the more probable you are to end up chronically addicted and in danger of an irreversible smoking related illness.

This is a very encouraging article, thanks! I am one of those people who tries to quit and end up depressed because I had one cigarette after being off them for two months, persuading myself that I am a failure, so I might as well go on smoking.

Look at it as just a hiccup and start again! Do you realize that if you quit one day and start again next day and get into this pattern you will only smoke half the amount of cigarettes than you usually do!!!
