make your smoking cravings go way and ultimately make it easier to quit

You are probably wondering why we're putting this article about exercise in the smoking section of Ukmedix News and not in the weight loss category? Well, the reason is because exercise is probably as effective as a smoking cessation tool as it is for losing weight and if you are one of those smokers who have struggled to quit maybe all you need is a little bit of a workout every day to tip the balance in your favour.

exercise, exercise, exercise.

Now before you go moaning on about how difficult it is to quit smoking and that the last thing you want is to have to go down to the gym as well, you should consider that you are much more likely to fail in your smoking cessation attempt if you try to do it without factoring in a bit of exercise. So what we are saying here is that by getting some exercise you are going to make your smoking cravings go way and ultimately make it easier to quit.

We have also just written an article about a research project done in Brown University which shows that people who quit smoking improve their mood and that those who fail to quit smoking often exhibit signs of depression. Well, it is well known that exercise improves your mood and gives you a sense of hope and positive thought which are essential requisites to successful smoking cessation.

don't try and overdo it with the quit smoking exercise and maybe just restrict yourself to a fast walk every day, but make sure that you get your heart beat elevated for at least twenty minutes a day and that you break into a sweat. You'll also notice that this should help you to sleep better, think better and to keep your mind from wandering.

You might also consider that by quitting smoking as a man you are less likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction and as a woman you are less likely to suffer from early menopause and infertility.

I lost 50lbs through healthy eating and a trainer making sure that I exercise, I was a smoker who refused to even try quitting. As a bonus for having a healthier lifestyle I quit smoking too. I feel so much better and I have to say I am very pleased with myself. And of course a big thank you to my trainer Peter!
