Electronic Cigarette Users Have Better Sex

almost 60% of those questioned said that their sex lives had improved

The manufacturers of an electronic cigarette recently conducted a survey to find out whether using them had an effect on the sex lives of both men and women. The figures as would be expected showed that sex lives generally improved when making the switch from normal cigarettes to electronic ones however at Ukmedix News we were surprised by scale of the positive results.

Electronic Cigarette Users Have Better Sex

In all almost 60% of those questioned said that their sex lives had significantly improved and a further twelve percent said that their sex lives were so good anyway that they could not ‘improve on perfection!’

Both men and women underestimate the effect that smoking will have on their sexual function especially as they get older. Most clinical research tends to focus on the effect that cigarettes have on male erectile function and rates of impotence are about 50% higher in smokers who are in their 30’s and 40’s.

The other thing that quitting smoking does is improve physical stamina so that men are able to go on make love for longer, something that is greatly appreciated by those women who have had to put up with out of breath men panting all over them after a few minutes. From anecdotal evidence it appears that men report better erectile function even after a week of not smoking and notice the return of sudden morning erections.

Electronic cigarettes are a novel way of quitting and they work by producing steam infused with a little bit of nicotine to keep cravings away. They are odourless and pretty harmless except for the nicotine. They don’t contain all the chemicals and tar that regular cigarettes have and are an extremely practical tool which can provide a stopgap to quitting cold turkey.

If you have tried to quit and failed you should visit a doctor about getting a smoking cessation remedy. It may be hypnotherapy, the use of medications such as Champix, nicotine gum or electronic cigarettes which will give you that extra help to be smoke free.
