Cigarettes Could Result In No Nipples

only be cured with a very unpleasant remedy! Leeches!

According to Dr Anthony Youn a certified plastic surgeon based in Metro Detroit, women who smoke have a considerable risk of having their nipples falling off!  It sounds a bit outlandish and maybe farfetched but Dr Youn claims to have seen it happening himself!

cigarettes could result in no nipples

He said that because smoking blocks up arteries and therefore impedes blood flow to parts of the body it is possible that various extremities of the bodies such as nipples get starved of proper blood flow and begin to turn purple, and then black and then ultimately fall off!

At Ukmedix News we have already published news about individuals who have lost limbs as a result of smoking and who actually carried on smoking because they just couldn't give up their deadly habit.

Dr Youn said that when women came to see him for a breast lift he always warned them that because of their smoking habit their recovery would take much longer and they could end up having blood flow problems to their nipples which could only be cured with a very unpleasant remedy! Leeches!

With the use of leeches being placed on the nipples it would be possible for the blood to be drawn through and the damaged blood vessels would possibly start to work on their own again! Dr Youn explained the leeches sucked out the venous blood from nipples and acted as an attachable vein with the old blood being drained out and new blood getting the nipples back to a proper healthy pink colour. He said the leeches would have to be attached for several days.

So ladies next time you think of having a cigarette just think about this medical procedure. Dr Youn has been warning his patients to quit smoking before he operates on them and tells them about possibility of having to use leeches on their nipples should there be any complications!

Dr. Youn has recently written a book called In Stitches which is full of humorous anecdotes and interesting stories about becoming and being a doctor.
