the side effects of Champix are much much less than the side effects of smoking

The smoking medication Champix is still under review by the FDA in America under the Adverse Event Reporting System which you shouldn't be too worried about if you are using the drug or thinking about using it.

Champix Included In FDA Review

In all nineteen different medications were listed by the FDA recently as qualifying for further review after a considerable number of adverse events were reported. Medications such as the weight loss drug Xenical which have been on sale for a decade were also included.

At Ukmedix News we look very carefully into reports of drug’s side effects and we are keen to report not just the good news about drugs but also the bad news. From our information we can see that while Champix does cause side effects, some of which are psychiatric many of them are also side effects of quitting smoking. Stress, anxiety and general nervousness are all aggravated when you come off cigarettes.

Smokers, and therefore people who make use of Champix are also statistically more likely to be suffering from many different illnesses, and even though they may be attempting to quit it could be too late for them. One thing is for sure however that the side effects of Champix are much much less than the side effects of smoking and you should take this into consideration when you decide to give up.

To argue that you don’t want to quit smoking because of the reported side effects of Champix is not a valid argument. If you really feel that Champix is not for you there are many other different smoking cessation meds which you can go for. You may find however that it is the only one that really works for you, especially if you are a person who is psychologically addicted to cigarettes.

Always take good medical advice before using smoking cessation products and learn all about how they work and what the side effects are.  One thing you cannot afford to do is to continue to smoke.
