Rear Admiral Kenneth Moritsugu is one of the most influential men in America. As well as being an Admiral he is also the Surgeon General for the entire United States of America. Recently he has been pushing the message that people should give up smoking very strongly.

Apparently when he was visiting a United States Navy hospital recently one cocky sailor got out his cigarette packet and asked the Surgeon General to autograph it for him. Every single packet of cigarettes in the United States of America has a health warning on it which is decided on by the Surgeon General and not to be outdone he said he would only sign the packet if the sailor quit smoking immediately.
The sailor agreed to quit smoking and Kenneth Moritsugu signed the packet along with the words ‘the last pack’ and dated it. At least if this sailor does actually keep his word and quit smoking he will have a memento of the time and date that he decided to quit. Everyone remembers where they were when they decided to quit smoking, it is not an easy decision to take.
Giving up smoking could probably be the most important decision you make in your life as it could determine how long you live and how healthily you live. It could determine whether you suffer from cancer at some point in your life or whether you experience erectile dysfunction making it impossible for you to have sexual relationships.
Smoking is quite simply the biggest health hazard in the western world today and is costing nations billions of pounds in health care. Smoking is also statistically more likely to make you suffer from a list of diseases which are quite simply too numerous to list. If you are serious about quitting smoking and you want to restore your health may be the smoking cessation drug Champix made by the drug manufacturer Pfizer could help you. This drug has been tested extensively and has been shown to have very high success rate with people who use it.
