Do You Really Want To Smoke...

Smoking is often a symptom of a problem in life

Research that we have seen at Ukmedix coming from Canada shows that 45,000 people a year die in the country from smoking linked illnesses which is more than the number of individuals who die from car accidents, fire, accidental poisoning, murder and HIV put together! The statistics are staggering yet people continue to smoke while at the same instance they claim that they are making a free and informed choice to carry on with their habit. What a load of rubbish!  They are all completely addicted and are unable to quit their habit even though secretly they wish they could.

Do You Really Want To Smoke...

There is a huge amount of information made available to people about the evils of smoking and when you look at the situation objectively the pleasures of smoking are outweighed massively by the health risks involved, and so any person who says that they smoke because they desire to is either hugely misinformed about the dangers of cigarettes or is just not being honest with themselves.

Smoking is often a symptom of a problem in life and people who cannot get around to quitting smoking are often people who have problems in relationships and at work. The single most important thing you can do for yourself is to stop smoking and if you can’t do this the chances are you are going to have problems doing anything in life that will benefit you.

At Ukmedix News we know that quitting cigarettes can be extremely difficult for some people and may in fact be the hardest thing that they ever had to do, but there are absolutely no excuses for not being honest with yourself and for not trying. There are many different smoking cessation treatments on the market today and the very best thing for you to do is to go and visit a doctor or a smoking cessation counselor. It may well be worth speaking to people who have quit the habit so that you can get tips from them.

Some people say that they quit really easily and it was no struggle and these people are extremely lucky, but the people you should speak to are the ones who really had problems giving up yet still managed to because they are likely to give you good tips and will be sympathetic to your plight.

At Ukmedix News we are hearing extremely good reviews about the smoking cessation drug Champix which is made by the drug company Pfizer. Champix unlike most smoking cessation remedies works on your brain to stop the cravings that people get for the nicotine. Nicotine replacement patches are not as likely to work as Champix. Hypnotherapy is also becoming more popular and has shown to be very good for some people.
