never give up giving up

Some smokers say that they have given up giving up smoking. They say that they have attempted so many different things and tried so many occasions that they have just had enough and that they have now resigned themselves to smoking for the rest of their lives. At Ukmedix News we have a saying which is “never give up giving up”. Once you have resigned yourself to smoking for the whole of your life you also resign yourself to a short life and an increased likelihood of suffering from heart disease, a stroke, lung cancer and hundreds of other illnesses.

Dont Stop Trying To Quit

The only people who give up giving up are those people who refuse to face reality. If you think carefully about the risks and dangers associated with smoking there is no way that a sane and rational person would continue smoking. But at Ukmedix News we know from hundreds of different research projects that we have studied that giving up smoking is extremely difficult.

Giving up smoking can be tougher and harder than giving up class A drugs like heroin or giving up alcohol for an alcoholic and therefore we fully sympathise with people who are still suffering from the curse of a smoking addiction. Ozzy Osbourne the famous rock singer claims that of all the different types of substances and drugs that he had to quit in order to carry on living, cigarettes were without a doubt the most difficult; and this is a man who was a serious alcoholic and junkie.

You must never lose heart and you must keep on attempting trying to find a way to quit. If you are serious about stopping smoking you may need to change your lifestyle for a bit and avoid situations which could lead you to smoke. You may have to become a hermit for a couple of months and not go out and drink alcohol because this could act as a trigger to make you smoke.

So keep on trying and remember…never give up giving up.
